About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team as a Fluids Assistant at John Flynn Retirement Village in Burwood East. This is a Part Time position working 0930 - 1300, with shifts available across 7 days.

This role is crucial in promoting and assisting with all aspects of nutritional food and fluid intake of our residents. In this role you will:

• Ensure all residents receive a jug of fresh water and clean glass each morning to maintain their hydration
• Prepare smoothies and/or food supplement drinks (e.g., Ensure) when required and maintain a continuous supply in the dining room fridge
• Assist with all aspects of dining room preparation for morning tea / lunch to create a 5 star dining experience
• Maintaining a record of any fluids and food given to residents, as directed by the Registered Nurse and raising any concerns as they arise
